Where does the CBD in CBD gummies come from?

All of our CBD comes from hemp, which is another version of the cannabis plant. While you can find CBD in any cannabis plant, including marijuana, the legal version of this cannabinoid comes from hemp. Both marijuana and hemp are part of the cannabis family, so hemp is technically a cannabis plant. However, hemp contains less than 0.3% THC, which means that it doesn’t produce any intoxicating effects, which is why CBD from hemp is legal in all states, but CBD from marijuana is not.
